The Exclamation Series was born on a slow afternoon sitting at an art show with my husband. We were playing with stone layouts when he set down two stones that resembled an exclamation mark. I was immediately drawn to the shape and decided that everyone needed a statement piece with an exclamation mark to embolden themselves.

A rafting trip on the Shenandoah inspired this series of rings. The rocks, sticks, and algae were glowing beneath the surface of the water. I came home and created these rings to capture a bit of that magic.
